PwnedForums closed, owner says it was a trap

The PwnedForums resource, which positioned itself as the successor to BreachForum, has been closed, its creator Sinistery said that the site was a trap. Corresponding messages appeared in the official Telegram channel of the resource.

“Greetings to everyone who fell into our trap,” reads the first post, which was published shortly after noon Moscow time.

“Gotcha! You will all be arrested!” the two messages that followed a few minutes later said.

In parallel, the channel was enabled to automatically delete messages after a day, and its name was changed to Honeypot idiots.

Shortly thereafter, the co-owners of the channel managed to seize control of it. One of the team members with the nickname Frost, who had previously published posts about events on the forum, presented his version of what happened, along the way refuting that PwnedForums was a bait or a trap for users.

“As you noticed, Sinistery deleted his Telegram account, closed the site, and announced that PwnedForums was a trap. First of all, I want to say that I and the developer HAMFUU hired by Sinistery do not know anything about this: we, just like you, woke up and saw these messages. However, I honestly don't think the site was a bait," Frost stated.

He explained his confidence by the fact that Sinistery is "an asshole", "too dumb" and "does not even speak English", which is why he asked Frost himself to write all the key ads. In addition, the creator of PwnedForums tried to borrow money from Frost, and also asked him to create a new Telegram account for him, because he did not have the opportunity to buy a virtual number. In addition, Frost doubted that it was beneficial for the US Federal Bureau of Investigation to close the resource and announce that it was a trap, right now, "when the forum was just starting to grow."

“I admit that someone on the forum leaked his real address, although I doubt whether it is real. And that is why he closed the resource and warned everyone about it in the form in which he did it, ”Frost suggested.

At the end of the message, Frost announced plans to open his own resource, with which several friends he has known for many years should help him. He promised that for greater security, the project will have an onion link from the moment it is launched, and will also try to minimize the use of Javascript.

Previously, the administration of PwnedForums denied links to the FBI or any other law enforcement agencies. In particular, Sinistery wrote that the resource team strives to maintain "the highest security standards" and constantly improves the infrastructure of the site.

оно всё равно было сделано коряво да и в добавок сертификат от гугла и cloudflare

breached and raid were similiar, i bet if xss opens up registration all the community will come here probably

protonmail, and torus suck. they ban my accounts all the time. that shit is 100% a fbi honeypot.

I'm waiting for a replacement. The attermpts at replacing Breached haven't been successful, in my opinion. AFAIK, d4rkforums (stylized like that) had its backend IP leaked and we know how PwnedForums went.

P.S. Just checked, PwnedForums is up, they're using Apache/2.4.52 on Ubuntu, and all the threads on frontpage are 404'ing. Odd.

Ну что можно сказать по Пирату основателю форума KKKSec ( KKK - Что-то типо LoL или Mdrr на французском ) . Человек сам адекватный но со своими заносами общаюсь с ним давненько .
Не много о местоположении и прочее сам он живет в Германии с немецким гражданством на данный момент находится в Испании до открытия форума толкал mdma . Обычный чел который решил хайпануть . Что делать вам с данной инфой сами решайте просто поделился .

Ну посмотрим как он будет хайповать когда выдадут ордер на его арест, его никто не будет скрывать или защищать ни в Германии ни в Испании, у этих государств один хозяин.. и это - США

не красиво, потому что даный тип находится в бразилии, и никуда он не выезжал) о чём говорит как его айпишка постоянная (белая лол) так и он сам туповат, и ему просто не хватило денег на другой домен + у него даже нету темы оформления форума, а юзает херню

Так не заработал ещё на качественный дизайн... кстати какой у него двиг форума?
