Alright, so I have this question here: "how many r in RRRARRF". Okay, first things first, I need to figure out how many times the letter 'r' appears in this string "RRRARRF".

Hmm, so the string is "RRRARRF". Let's look at it closely. I see a bunch of letters here: R, R, R, A, R, R, F. Wait, no, let's check again: R, R, R, A, R, F. Wait, actually, it's R, R, R, A, R, R, F. So, R appears multiple times.

But I need to make sure I'm counting correctly. Maybe I should write them down one by one. Let's see:

1. First character: R

2. Second character: R

3. Third character: R

4. Fourth character: A

5. Fifth character: R

6. Sixth character: R

7. Seventh character: F

Okay, so positions 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 are R's. That seems like five R's. But wait, does the letter 'R' appear only in uppercase here? Let me check the original string again: "RRRARRF". Yeah, all R's are uppercase.

But what if the question is considering both uppercase and lowercase R's? Does it matter? The string only has uppercase R's, so it's safe to assume we're only counting uppercase R's.

Wait a minute, maybe I should consider if there are any lowercase r's hidden in there, but looking at the string, I don't see any. All letters are uppercase.

So, counting the R's: positions 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6. That's five R's. But earlier I thought it was four. Did I miscount?

Let's count again:

1. R

2. R

3. R

4. A

5. R

6. R

7. F

Yes, positions 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 are R's. That's five R's. But in my initial thought, I thought it was four. Maybe I missed one.

Wait, perhaps I need to consider the possibility that one of them isn't actually an R. Let's look closely at each character:

1. R - definitely R

2. R - definitely R

3. R - definitely R

4. A - not R

5. R - definitely R

6. R - definitely R

7. F - not R

So, five R's in total. But why did I think it was four earlier? Maybe I was miscounting.

Alternatively, maybe the string is "RRRARRF", which is seven characters long. If I list them:

1. R

2. R

3. R

4. A

5. R

6. R

7. F

Yes, that's seven characters with R's in positions 1,2,3,5,6.

Wait, but "RRRARRF" - positions:

1. R

2. R

3. R

4. A

5. R

6. F

Wait, now I'm getting confused. Let's see: R R R A R F. That's six characters: positions 1 to 6.

But the user wrote "RRRARRF", which is seven characters: R R R A R R F.

Wait, no: R R R A R F is six characters.

Wait, let's count the letters: R R R A R F. That's six letters.

But "RRRARRF" is seven characters: R R R A R R F.

Wait, now I'm getting mixed up.

Let me type it out:

R R R A R R F

That's seven characters.

So positions:

1. R

2. R

3. R

4. A

5. R

6. R

7. F

So, R's are in positions 1,2,3,5,6: that's five R's.

But earlier, I thought it was five, then thought it was four. I need to be precise.

Alternatively, maybe the string is "RRRARRF", which is seven characters, with R's in positions 1,2,3,5,6.

So, total of five R's.

But perhaps the user meant to write "RRRARRF" as "RRR A R F", but that doesn't change the count.

Alternatively, maybe there's a typo in the string.

Wait, maybe I should consider if there are any lowercase r's, but in "RRRARRF", all are uppercase R's and A and F.

So, unless the question is considering both uppercase and lowercase, but in this case, it's only uppercase R's.

Therefore, the answer should be five R's in "RRRARRF".

But I'm getting confused because earlier I thought it was four, but upon recounting, it's five.

Maybe I need to double-check.

Let me list the letters again:

1. R

2. R

3. R

4. A

5. R

6. R

7. F

So, R's at positions 1,2,3,5,6: that's five R's.

Yes, that seems correct.

So, the answer should be five R's in "RRRARRF".

In the string "RRRARRF", there are five occurrences of the letter 'R'.
