I have fake Usdts on Erc20 network
And have thread about it

The only thing you can actually do is to scam someone 1 on 1 with it

Metamask/Trustwallet will recognize it
As abother token ( because it is another token )

Coibase for example, also you will not be able to swap it, but it will be seen very nice and realistic, unless at that same wallet you already have normal, original Usdt. Then those 2 will be shown as 2 completelly different currencies.

Of course it can not be swapped for anything, same as you can not swap 1 Shiba Inu for 1 Usdt
Altough is 1 of the first and 1 of the second.


Why ?
Because fake Usdt is just another smart contract which is also called Usdt and have same logo
But is worthless
Metamask or Trustwallet if you have milions of these it will still show you total ballance as 0
