In monero multisig is still in experiment
In bitcoin multisig is nothing but involving 2 or more parties for a confirmation of transaction which requires atleast more than half party to sign a transaction
Example , 3 people open a deal with multisig , now one wants to transfer to another address , and one to another , so whom the middle person confirms , the funds will go there , google search for more better explanation
