It could be due to how the APP gets installed and how the permissions get acquired.
If a lot of manual interaction is required from the victims, the % of installations will fall down due to all the warnings that new versions of android put on their devices.
For example: to enable a11y permission on brands such as Huawei/Oppo/Xiaomi the victim has to flag an "I understand the risks" warning which THEY WILL PROBABLY READ as the button isn't clickable until 10 seconds have elapsed.

As far as I can understand, you best shot would be targeting devices based on their UAs.
The less warnings appear on the victim device, the better it is.


Pro tip: as you seem to have really clean traffic, a GPlay loader would also work really good.

So the problem was in Hook botnet ? And even public alien worked better ?
