Hello Everyone!!!
I want to make an IOT project, where I will use physical sensors, capture data from them, store it in a database server, and manipulate the data from a website.
Until now I thought about building a device that will retransmit cellular data, in more simple words cellular MITM device. this device will have an antenna that works on frequencies that mobile data works with and will act like an normal antenna that smartphone will connect to. Then the device will connect to the closest 3G/4G/5G antenna and retransmit the radio waves so the connection will look legit and the users wont notice anything ( they might even get a better connection speed ).
After the device starts to act as a MITM device. it will send the retransmited radiowaves as packets to the server, or it will write them to a connected storage.
Now I posted this here, to hear your thoughts about this idea, and especially if you know RF technologies and cant give me some tips, I would really appreciate that.
Or if you can share with me another cool IOT idea where I use sensors, and database server, this will be appreciated too
Thanks for your spent time on this thread
I will keep it updated
