hello all,i write this thread because i got tired of seeing always and only mirai botnet,so i'm here to ask you:
-how would you build your personal botnet in 2023?
-how do you kill other people's bots?
-would you add other commands to it besides DDoS?
-how do you hide the cnc, do you prefer client server or peer to peer architecture?
I write this because I would like to build my own botnet.

1. Prob make a src first and test it extensively w roots, then test w some sploits
2.
Scan procs for suspicious strings,libs & spoofed proc name, also for UPX.
Also after first infection prob restart device & lock
3. Yes, I would.
4. TOR because my c2 cant really get fucked

where do you find tor proxy, and why tor doesn't it add delays in the network?

Would prob just hardcore like 100 w good uptime bcs im lazy, and its in the worst case like 8-10s from my testing

Would prob add a cmd to update the protocol version but too lazy

I can as example give friends bots to test (they can be limited with @500 infront as example) or when i want to test on a seperate testnet, also spawn a proxy w them this way

i was thinking of making the bot cross platform to also infect windows server with exploit like exchange and where do u find tor socks proxy

Would be useless kinda for me due to obvious reasons,
Also you can find easily find them online on lists(You can find them easily when searching for them for torrent, There is also a offical one that you can use (some expose their socks port))

um Is irc cnc good under tor?

I think IRC is a bit dated, due to its simplicity(researchers are easier able to understand how your using it etc)
