Проблемы с линуксом на ссд

Здравствуйте товарищи. Такая история. Был старенький ноут , стояла мейн винда на hdd, решил сделать себе внешний usb ssd с кали , чтобы как белый человек ссд подключил выбрал операционку , по делал дела и перезагрузился обратно в винду. Еще на этапе установки возникла мааааса проблем начиная с того что ничего не ставилось через виртуалбокс , заканчивая тем , что с уже установленным ссд не эфи не хуефи не легаси просто не видели что можно загрузиться с этого ссд. Все эти проблемы были решены так : на флешку был накатан установщик кали , hdd был выдран из корпуса ноута , на его место поставлен ссд , на него была установлена кали , дальше hdd был поставлен на место, а ссд начал замечательно подключаться через usb переходник и всё прекрасно работало. Единственный нюанс был в том , что если уже работая под кали что то воткнуть/достать в/из любого usb разъема то полностью отваливался xfce , но это было не критично. Теперь же старая помойка была заменена на значительно более лучший вариант но , при подключении данного ссд в usb порт , вариант загрузки не появляется , биос его не видит вообще. При загрузке в винду , в системе ссд так же не отображается , видно его только в управлении дисками как не размеченную область.
Собственно вопрос. Есть какой то вариант заставить его работать или только форматировать , размечать и снова плясать с бубном по новой всё устанавливая?

My Russian understanding is very limited but from what I could gather is that you issue is accessing your external SSD.

First of all, when you installed Kali, did you also install Grub on the external SSD? This could be one of your leading causes for headache.
Second, Windows is not able to read EXT4 partitions, it can only read Fat32 which is also used as the boot partition of all common Linux distributions. These partitions are usually 512MB or smaller so they are useless. There are external tools that can read EXT4 on Windows, I wouldn't recommend it, but it's there if you really need it.

Have you checked the BIOS settings of both machines if maybe one machine is in BIOS mode and the other one is in UEFI mode?

That's the problem, that I see such a bios for the first time. Everything is familiar, it looks as usual, but there are no boot-related items except for "safety boot" from changing which nothing changes.
