Today i will release my LNK builder for free.
Icons Available:

OFFICE_DOCX
OFFICE_PPTX
OFFICE_XLS
OFFICE_XLSX
EDGE_PDF
WINDOWS_FOLDER
WINDOWS_ZIP
WINDOWS_MOVIE
WINDOWS_TXT
WINDOWS_ISO
WINDOWS_MUSIC
WINDOWS_BAT
WINDOWS_NETWORKSHARE
WINDOWS_DLL
WINDOWS_UNKNOWN

Usage is:
rust-lnk-creator.exe <URL> <ICON|LIST> <OUTNAME>
Currently 2/26.
Only direct links can be used!

Its made in rust & its really simple.
If you want the src pm me

this is very good. thanks for your efforts

but seems it works on most pc, not all pc. i built a test and tested on pc i built with it , works fine, but copied to two other pc and test, doesn't work.
i guess it doesn't work for all pc or this is just me having this problem ?

Does anyone have an idea how to show the icon of the lnk in zip archive?

Thanks for sharing. I paid for a tool for this.

I think you can't show the icon in a zip? That is why people use iso/img inside a zip. That is the real drawback of lnk spreading I think. You need people to open an img/iso, and they may be wary as they don't see these formats often and don't understand what they are for.

as far as i know, You can show it in some programs with some tricks.
If i find something that works for every zip viewer, ill publish it here.
