Why do people buy shit crypters? [ADVICE FOR NEWBIES]

I do not really know how can people sell shit crypters and people buy it, mostly this happens on Hackforums where you see tons of sellers sell shit and then people complaint about it because the crypter is not FUD as the seller claimed. I suggest to learn how to make it one by yourself or buy only on reputable forums.

Did someone here ever bought a shit crypter that didn't worked at all? if so then please comment because I am about to launch a crypter service and I need some feedbacks from you guys.

Not worked at all but got detected quick but this was mainly due to me looking at crypters after a large hiatus. Didn't realize how much it's changed! Unfortunately, I think some of those people buying shit crypters think it's still 2010 and think they can just buy a cheap crypter and assume it will work well.

What has changed the most since mid 2010's? I remember the biggest issue being the large number of users using the same cheap crypter and sharing same stubs and scanning them on VirusTotal, which caused the detection to go up. I assume it's still the case?

yeah this is the case, people just throw everything on virustotal without caring how it might impact them or other people

yes its true, if your file gets uploaded on virustotal then you are fucked.

the problem is not virustotal i guess. My opinion if you want to make a service like that you have to bypass sandboxes like any.run, hybrid-analysis and joesandbox. most of people is scanning documents here especially corporate firms. virustotal is garbage. you can easily bypass that with a crypter

No virustotal is a big problem because they share the sample with AV companies when you upload and scan it so even if you have 0 detections on VT very soon you will start to see the first ones.

Had a similar experience with crypters on such forums. Found some good ones too but they are gone

The goal is to make enough money to then live without even need to get a work so once this goal is reached vendors disappear else they get busted earlier.
 
most SIEM are uploading to joe,vt etc automatically since the stone ages.
forums marketplace skid are usually desperate university student. exit scammed because the modern age is too hard for their limited resource and limited minds.
options past 2020 being have some черножопый slaving work 24/7 on maintaining 'crypt' tooling. otherwise you will find rape.
ensure to know who they are, help them find where is their rape if disappear or steal. sell them to chechens.
those left on internet, to be europol,fsb,cia or researcher honeypot.
