Not really, he brokered a lot of the deals but did a lot of the work. Anyone could tell you he's behind it all.

Seems they like to use botnet log shops for access. I've seen multiple reports of them using shops like Genesis and RussianMarket to purchase creds for large corps and/or 3rd party workers. A little unorthadox but seems to do the trick))

As from what we've inquired about them, Although RaidForums & xss have played key parts in their uprising.

I think they did use Genesis, in the right circles on RaidForums, they where giving out Genesis accounts.

They had Genisis & RussianMarket accounts in combination with Using RF. Raidforums used to be used heavily for swatting which makes Brian Krebs' accusations more valid that they were part of the recursion team.

Lapsus$ was a skid cyber crime group, they used very low skilled non-technical attacks. They bought access, Never developed their own tools and so forth. Also thanks for the 2 dislikes really nice to see someone I know on the forum.
However to reinforce the "Lapsus$" was a skid group they used telegram, which doxbin admins gained access to leaking the chats to Brian Krebs. They weren't careful got doxed through EDRs & laughed at by doxbin when they failed to do anything of value. Okta lasted a near 25 minutes according to Okta, T-Mobile got killed, Microsoft got killed with 35% exfiltrated, NVIDIA & Samsung are considered a massive fail as no open source drivers will be published as a result.

Lapsus$ constantly argued with their members, even doxing 2 of them. Further more the group acted like a bunch of monkeys who got locked in a cage for days with a banana hung just out of reach over the cage.
