Hi, XSS & Co.
As you know, due to the high pricing on taxed fuel right now (especially, in Europe), there is also a huge demand for cheaper version of it, which is not taxed, obviously. Basically, contraband. If any of you are working in this field or have people who know how the current fuel smuggling industry works, please, be so kind and leave a reply.
I've got a few questions that interest me the most right now:
1. Is it even possible to smuggle fuel (diesel, for an example) across the border from Russia to Estonia? Considering the currently on-going political situation + the fact that Estonia is a part of NATO.
2. How do people usually do it? Do they drive a few cars to Russia themselves, fill them up and head back to their country? Or they pay people from Russia to deliver the fuel to the border for them?
3. How dangerous is the fuel smuggling industry in general and would you do it yourself, if you had a chance?
I know, the questions are quite basic, but that's because I'm seeing an opportunity here since the pricing of fuel in Russia compared to what it is in Europe right now is crazy. I just would like to get deeper into this, do a proper research, get answers to my questions and see how it goes.
Regards,
Suerte.
