Please help, I need to clone an image of a virtual machine mounted in Virtualbox which the hard disk is 1TB in size and a few GB more I need to transfer it to an external 1TB disk and thus extract the image but install on computers with hard disks of less capacity example 500GB, 250GB clearly the disk from which I want to extract the image has only occupied 80GB I have already tried practically everything, for example with clonezilla if it extracts the image but when installing it it does not allow me why it says that the disk destination is very small (it falls short by only a few GB, the destination disk is configured with a 1TB image and a few GB more) I also tried with the virtualbox manager creating a new lower capacity hard disk to reduce the partition size and still won't let me please what could I do? Is there any way to reduce the size of the original disk (in vdi format) of the virtual machine to create an image that is smaller, for example 900GB, 200GB etc? considering what I mentioned above, thank you very much!
