To be honest, rubber ducky is kinda outdated in my opinion.
p4wnp1/p4wnp1 aloa is one of good ones and easy to deploy.
Cost is basically $10.

This is just to start you could find other pretty good projects which is very effective in real life.

This is not "flash drive" it is, basically, keyboard emulator.

Cost is basically $10.

+ SD card + cable + optional case
But yeah, RPi0 is nice platform.

Just read some posts on github about p4wnp1/p4wnp1 aloa
It was made for raspberry pi zero/w but i know what people deployed it on 4 without any problems.
It's fairly easy and straightforward.

What do you mean by "options"?
Hardware wise - yes, not too many.
But it is very flexible and you can do very tricky things with it.

Language for p4wnp1 is very easy.
And you can convert almost anything to p4wnp1.
Just give it a try.

You can find certain USB sticks with a programmable chip onboard and use that. I have seen a tutorial about that years ago...
