ProtonMail is sneaky

This is what ProtonMail says on their site regarding creating a new mail address and it only provides Email/SMS for options.

If you are only given the option of Email or SMS verification, and would like to avoid using Email or SMS verification, it is possible to do so by upgrading to a premium account using PayPal or Bitcoin. To do so, please email us at contact@protonmail.ch

It wants us to contact them before hand to create a contact which will be stored. ?

You can use temporary email, but somehow protonmail is full shit
