I managed to get the fortinet credentials of a very valuable company and I want to scan the entire 10.0.0.0/8 range (10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255) because 10.0.0.0/16 (10.0.0.0-10.0.255.255) didnt have any alive hosts
Im using masscan on an rdp because when using vpn (not fortinet) on my pc it is not possible to scan the network because of NAT in the vm and I dont want to use bridged adapter because that would expose my ip
In the vm I managed to get 4 kpps while testing (it takes only 1 hour to scan the entire 10.0.0.0/8 range) and in the rdp i only get about 0.4 kpps (it takes about 12 hours for 10.0.0.0/8 range)
If anyone has a solution for that (preferably one where I can connect to the fortinet vpn in the vm and scan) pls post it, the main problem is the speed, it is very slow
Also any tips for the vpn pentest are respected
