This is how, Mellstroy or Simba_Service, same guy with 2 accounts, scammed me not for money, but for almost 2 months of my life.
He contacted me on ~15 November after he saw this Stripe phishing plugin for WordPress I made /threads/126476/. He wanted to buy it, but needed some changes to the plugin, plus to develop a telegram bot to sell credit cards in real time. We setup escrow, delivered the code in 2 weeks, everyone happy. This was phase one of working with him.
After this, at beginning of December '24 he said to me that he needed some more functionality to the plugin and bot. He asked if I wanted to work in partnership with him, so he doesn't pay me for the changes, but I will develop the plugin and bot, he will make and promote phishing sites, and when ready, he will give me 20% from sales he made from the bot. I agreed, and as I find now, this was big mistake. On 1 Jan I had the code done with new functionality, and all we needed to get started was Mellstroy to do the sites and promote them. He done no sites, but kept asking me, do this, do that. I even found a dev to do the sites in Jan, and until now when I write this post, he's done no site.
What he's done instead was keep asking me to deliver the code, which to remind you, he did not pay for updated version, through various methods, like put the code on my server, send me the updated plugin code to test, even if I gave him test site, and other hilarious ways he tried to trick me to give him the code somehow.
I gave him shit, of course, our agreement was to work in partnership, not to work for free for him.
On Feb I asked him to send me 500$ for 2 more weeks of waiting for his sites, or I will post the bot and plugin online for selling. He send me 500$, and after this started asking me more and more to give him the code somehow. 2 weeks passed, and he still did no sites. That's why I sell that plugin here /threads/133440/.
This guy, by far, is the biggest time waster in my life. A scam bag. Me stupid too, I trusted a thief, which is hilarious too.
Now, he openly ask for the code, like he feel entitled to it, even he did not paid for updated code.
An advice for you, never trust anyone until he show you the money, simple as that, do your own thing and when you do something for others, make sure you getting paid.
