File disappeared after extracting zip. I also turn "show hidden folder"

Hello everyone,

Today, I received a ZIP archive. Upon opening it without extracting, I noticed several hidden files. However, after extracting the archive, all the files disappeared. I've enabled the "Show hidden files and folders" option in Windows and disabled Windows Defender, but the issue persists.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

there is also another option for system files try that. one more thing try to use a differt extractor like winrar or 7z maybe it helps

Try add a exclusive folder to Microsoft Defender, if that does not work create a virtual Linux environment and see if it persists.

Hello, I find out that it is a "protected operating system files". Just View -> Options -> then disable option "The protected operating system files" and the file will show up.
