Is this the latest version of Mimikatz? I have seen the error with older versions that don't support the target OS build.

this usually occurs when lsass is x64 and your mimikatz 32bit or when you have invalid handle to process
or your parent process (cobalt strike might be your case is running 32bit and lsass is 64bit or vice versa or could be due to invalid privilege,either of two are the only reasons i see)
