I don't know if it's completely possible, as I haven't put it into practice yet, but here we go: My idea is to encrypt a new SSD using VeraCrypt, then I would put 2 operating systems on it: 1 Windows 7/10 and an Endeavour OS, both also encrypted. When I turn on the PC, a black VeraCrypt screen will appear for me to enter the password that will unlock the system, so if I enter PASSWORD_1, it will enter Windows and if I enter PASSWORD_2, it will enter Endeavour OS.

I think this is good protection because even if they find it very suspicious that you have an encrypted system "not being a criminal" and even if they put a gun to your head forcing you to enter the password, you can enter the password that will unlock Windows and everything will be fine.

An addon: I thought you could also put some porn videos in a Windows folder, to justify some of the nervousness about entering the password because of the embarrassment.

Well, I'm open to hearing anything about the idea

just use https://www.qubes-os.org/ with https://www.whonix.org/ but you need to have enough memory in your hardware
Yes, it's a valid and very good solution, but it's totally different from what I was talking about. My idea was to combine privacy, convenience, security and plausible deniability for extreme cases. With an encrypted dual-boot where one password leads to one OS and another password leads to another OS, both also encrypted, I believe we've reached that goal

Hi guys,
I'm planning to set up my new SSD with two encrypted operating systems, and would like some guidance.

Objective:

1. I want to encrypt my entire SSD using VeraCrypt.
2. I want to install two operating systems: Windows 10 and EndeavourOS (based on Arch Linux).
3. I want to be able to choose between the two operating systems based on the password entered when I start the PC:
- Password1: Load Windows 10.
- Password2: Load EndeavourOS.
4. Both systems should also be individually encrypted with VeraCrypt for maximum security.

Questions:

1. Is it possible to configure VeraCrypt to manage a dual boot with two systems encrypted in this way?
2. What would be the step-by-step process for doing this?
- For example, how should I partition the SSD, install the operating systems and configure VeraCrypt so that it works as described?
3. Is there anything specific I should know about VeraCrypt's compatibility with dual boot and Linux systems such as EndeavourOS?
4. Performance considerations or other challenges I might face with this setup?

I appreciate any tips, tutorials or experiences you can share

in this case you dont faced with loader troubles(you use dieferent method).

if you wanna use 2 OS on one drive its may be dangerous because every OS has access to all the partitions of the drive

Man i got you. I used the method on my phone. There is two password and they have two dashboard. One is the main second is for scam like clear. But you‘re talking about two Os . I am very interested to your idea. How could you do it .
sup, how you made this? you are using special distro like graphen os?

but when one of them is decrypted, will the second one be decrypted too or will he be able to see the second partition but will he see it encrypted?
Yes, If you are using lets say Linux and on the other windows and you did seperate partioning then it will not decrypt both of the Partitions as each of them was encrypted using a different encryption key . But you should rather focus on where the decrytion key is stored in your memory rather than thinking about if both will get decrypted
