TXT FBI Agents Messages Export From BF's database

[Dastardy]

Hello,
A recently unsealed court document has revealed the usernames that agents from the FBI have used in attempt to catch data vendors and have purchased data from them.
The FBI OCE who used the alias 'Cr4ck4' also targeted other forum members: thekilob, expo2020, jbl, jigsaw, a_d_r_a_s_t_e_a, Jared__Fazah and shadowhacker. You can read his breachforums private messages here.

The FBI OCE who used the alias 'Cr4ck4' also targeted other forum members: thekilob, expo2020, jbl, jigsaw, a_d_r_a_s_t_e_a, Jared__Fazah and shadowhacker. You can read his breachforums private messages here.

The way they get caught isn't as hollywood as you might think. Pompom messaged Omnipotent discussing the leak of raidforums database, asking him, in plaintext, if his personal email was listed in the breach. Once FBI seized the forum, they got a hold of these messages and of course all of the IP logs. It's not news that they have undercovers on these forums. They have been doing that type of work since Silk Road.

LOTs of sim swappers were caught up because of the OGUsers data breach. IP logs, emails they used to sign up being used somewhere else with a link to them, etc.

Know a hacker who got arrested? Find their case and read up on how. Learn from their mistakes. I've read dozens of these indictments/exhibits and they all lead down the same few paths. I'm sure this is what the poster and/or emoemo does to be able to get this type of high quality information.

Most of these guys couldn't be bothered enough to leave their man-caves and use someone else's wifi for their felonies.

If you're someone big like LockBitSupp or any other group that hosts it's own infra, you should have memory watchdogs attached to every process that receives untrusted data from the internet. Buffer overflow detected? Cut the network adapter and terminate the process. Dump the memory and analyze. No scary php exploits anymore. Theres tons of software that can do this, for open source and closed source binaries.

It's not shocking that the FBI is able to make these types of moves. The only time they do is when you allow them to.

If you take all the right steps-take all the right precautions-you will be just fine ;-)

I made a slight mistake, they were discussing the breach of a company named ai.type. Pom was telling Omni that it's not the full database because an email appeared on haveibeenpwned but not in the file he was provided from the purchase of the breach.
But yeah lmao the full quote is even funnier. The dude was like "This totally isn't my real email or anything, just another one that I happened to see was missing in the breach."

How the fuck else would he know what email isn't a part of the full breach unless he either had full access to both breaches to compare (he didn't, he bought the data and was cross checking against haveibeenpwned), or it was his own email. Why the fuck would you ever put out your personal email like that even if its someone you trust and have a hacker crush on?? Full quote below -

Hackers also get arrested from forums and typically their ego thinking they are untouchable, for example Umbreon.

The fbi has gotten smarter in many ways and inovated things that sometimes trick people into falling into traps.
