There are certainly several successful sales here, if you want to buy something I advise you to analyze the seller's reputation first, if they accept a guarantor and if they have money deposited here, this helps if you have any problems with the transaction.

I am trying to sell my skills but struggling at it

I advise writing a sales post in the appropriate section and creating a PGP key in case you/client required additional privacy. Discussions about products can take place in Pm and the aforementioned. As for personal correspondence, the usual solutions are a bit unstable (Tox or XMPP), so unless you want to accept their current shortcomings (security issue, spam assaults) that leaves Signal, Keybase, and Element for consideration. At least that i am aware of
